Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Real Estate Expansion Associate to join our team in the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will support our real estate expansion efforts, helping to expand our land and power base and be at the forefront of driving our business growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development within the real estate and data centre industry and exposure to multiple markets across the UK and Europe.
Duties And Responsibilities
The role includes but is not limited to the following: –
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential data centre sites, real estate and industry trends. Analyse data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new site opportunities through various channels, including networking, brokers, real estate companies, real estate developers and other potential providers such as power companies.
- Site Selection Support: Reviewing site data, mapping, power and fibre connectivity for data centre sites and progress opportunities through pre-qualification, qualification, site selection and due diligence.
- Acquisition Support: Help to prepare purchase and lease proposals, Non-Binding Offers and support the senior team in closing deals and achieving growth targets.
- Prepare management presentations and reports: Prepare regular reports on real estate growth activities, pipeline status, and market feedback and maintain salesforce recording and updates on opportunities, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the presentation of data and insights.
- Work in a matrix structure, effectively collaborating across various groups to collect and consolidate information as needed for projects and initiatives.
- Maintain and organize project files and documentation to ensure easy access and reference for team members.
- Support the team in various other tasks as required to enhance overall productivity
Person Specification
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate finance, Property Development, Building Surveying Urban Planning or a related field.
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in real estate in a development, consultancy, urban planning or a related role, preferably within the technology, or data centre industry.
- MRICS would be an advantage though not essential
Skills:
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven experience in land, development or lease acquisition field
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required, other European languages is a plus

- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new real estate expansion opportunities.
- Eager to learn and develop within the industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

This is a hybrid role, which is based in London or Berlin
