Job Summary

Working alongside the Senior Project Managers, the PM will be responsible for ensuring that the site projects are proceeding in line with contractor cost/programme and are aligned to the delivery dates for end user customer. The PM will also be responsible for ensuring contract processes are followed and correctly applied. The role is a 3yr Fixed Term Contract and based on site at the Saunderton Campus located a short distance from High Wycombe.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act in capacity of employer’s representative and be responsible for the end‑to‑end construction delivery of our London project.
  • Manage the project with all involved stakeholders in the construction phase.
  • Manage and track construction milestones.
  • Provide Vendor oversight and performance management to deliver assigned projects.
  • Review and approval of vendor scope of work and design review of site and building/project plans.
  • Manage compliance with audit results and recommendations.
  • Monitor Health and Safety compliance of the works across project.
  • Be responsible for Preparation, submission and tracking of all necessary project spend in line with approved business case capex and run change control on a weekly triage and then change control approval basis in line with project contingency.
  • Provide Project Management support on any additional works and other sites where necessary.

Qualifications

Desirable: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction project management or construction management – any acceptable 2-3 years’ minimum experience in data centre project design and construction with hyperscale data centre operators, lease providers or similar. PRINCE2, APM, MSP or other Project/Programme Management certification preferred. Design and Build contract strategy experience. Client or Contractor side Data centre design, construction management experience. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously. Able to manage and work within a diverse and inclusive team environment delivering large scale enterprise projects with both localised and virtual team structures. Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organizations with proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver successfully.
