About the Role: In your role as Product Manager you play an integral part in the creation of the company's product strategy and be able to navigate strategic trade offs in your day to day work. In your work with the scrum teams you will consistently optimise for impact and drive consistent momentum in shipping new product features. The Product Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager and requires great interpersonal skills. You will need to work with many departments to ensure that the requirements of many stakeholders are incorporated in our products. Additionally you will be comfortable communicating with individuals and teams from both technical and commercial backgrounds. The Virtuoso product portfolio is at an exciting stage and growing rapidly. We need someone to help us create clear and compelling roadmaps and inspire teams to deliver against those roadmaps.
What we would like to see in you!
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap definition, be expert in your area of the Virtuoso product.
- Drive product planning and execution of all processes in the product life cycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, roadmap prioritisation and launch of new features.
- Translate product strategy into each phase of the product life cycle i.e. discovery, inception and delivery, working in collaboration with the team ensuring that everyone understands and contributes to the big picture.
- Consistently utilise UX research as part of the product development process.
- Analysing agreed qualitative and quantitative data and KPIs to ensure the impact of new product features.
- Foster conditions for product teams to do their best work, providing product management subject matter expertise, shielding cross‑functional teams from unnecessary noise in the organisation while working with other leaders in the company.
- Improve our Product Team's practices and processes, leading to better product decisions and execution.
- Help establish clear responsibilities and KPIs for each product.
Experience and Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager. Ideally in a high growth SaaS business.
- Technical and UX skills including methodologies, best practices, frameworks, and product life cycle management.
- Proficiency with agile methodology and its frameworks and experience running them in a fast‑moving startup.
- Strong communication and leadership skills (ability to understand, influence, and motivate people).
- A track record of success working effectively with Sales and Technology Development teams leading to product functionality enhancement and launch.
- Experience with managing both web and mobile products that are heavily reliant on data.
- Ability to demonstrate different approaches to problem‑solving.
- Proven experience in implementing standards and procedures across teams.
