We are looking to expand our team of professional consultants and therefore, we are seeking an experienced home-based Water Consultant to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. The focus of this role is to undertake general health and safety risk assessments in the commercial and residential property sector. Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports and assisting clients; diaries are pre-planned in advance to support and assist work life balance. There will be a requirement to travel to our sites with this role, so you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to sites.

Competencies and Experience

  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in Legionella risk assessment and Legionella awareness - hot and cold water systems
  • Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes ie ACOP L8/HSG 274 BS 8580-1 and BS 7592
  • Excellent technical ability
  • Good report writing, IT and communication skills
  • Experience in undertaking site based legionella risk assessments of hot and cold water systems
