The Role: We are seeking an experienced IT Agile Project Manager with a strong background in delivering complex technology projects within fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of project management experience, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams to successful outcomes. This role requires strong experience in budget management, resource planning, change management, and business analysis, together with the capability to line manage and mentor other project managers, helping develop talent within the delivery function.

Main Duties:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid approaches).
  • Develop and manage project plans, backlogs, roadmaps, and release schedules.
  • Ensure all projects meet scope, timeline, quality, and budget parameters.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Effective programme management of clients that are running multiple projects.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and showcases.
  • Translate technical and business requirements into actionable work items for delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, technical leads, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the project team.
  • Own project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Manage project resources, capacity planning, and allocation across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Oversee vendor management and ensure cost‐effective delivery.
  • Support organisational and technology change using best-practice change management methodologies.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and develop communication and training plans.
  • Work with business stakeholders to support adoption and transition.

Skills & experience:

  • 10+ years of IT project and Programme management experience delivering complex initiatives.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing project Budgets.
  • Proven ability in resource planning and team leadership.
  • Experience line managing and/or mentoring team members.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering technology projects such as application builds, integrations, infrastructure, or SaaS platforms.

Highly desirable skills & experience:

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst or hybrid PM/BA.
  • Change management experience or certification (e.g., PROSCI).
  • Agile certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or SAFe.
  • Experience in scale-up environments or digital transformation programmes.
  • Experience in use of AI in improving efficiencies with project delivery.

Company & benefits: We offer a 40-hour working week from our Richmond offices in London with flexibility on hybrid working typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home after a successful induction period. In addition to our transparent salary grading structure, for this role we also offer a range of great benefits including:
