As a Business Development Manager, you will work for growing our business and help us in achieving long-term success by building strong relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales targets by overcoming customer obstacles and communicating well internally.
- Manage salesforce process and pipeline for respective assigned area.
- Manage existing accounts effectively and strategically to increase revenue and strengthen the overall relationship.
- Evaluate opportunities in cooperation with production department, formulate proposals, negotiate and close contracts.
- Handle clients’ on-site visits and due diligence process.
- Ensure after-sales coordination: hold regular calls or meetings with clients to monitor satisfaction and anticipate their needs.
- Responsible for the appropriate use of communication and sales systems and processes to ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting and forecasting.
- Overcome competitive threats.
- Represent Virtuos at key industry events.
- Work with Associate Director of Business Development and EMEA Director to better facilitate cross-region communication & collaboration.
- Spearhead efforts to establish standardized channel, cadence, and methodology for routine updates across geographies.
- Work with Associate Director of Business Development to establish a greater network of non-profit/charitable organization contacts.
- Evaluate how Virtuos can play a more supportive role for charitable organizations within North America.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 4 years' similar industry-related business development experience.
- Ability to work with direct and external partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- English (both written and spoken) proficiency.
- Fluency bilingual (French and other languages an asset).
- Willing to travel for work.
- Passion for making and playing games.
This position offers a combination of base salary and performance-based variable compensation, with total on-target earnings expected to range between $170,000 – $250,000. Virtuos maintains a location-based compensation structure; therefore, the salary range may vary for candidates residing in different geographic markets. Virtuos takes into consideration candidate's education, experience, training, and seniority levels along with external market conditions.
