The Client is looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded SDR / BDM to join their professional legal services team. This role will focus on supporting business growth by proactively engaging with prospective clients and generating new opportunities through a combination of strategic outreach and relationship building. The successful candidate will contribute to the firm’s expansion by developing meaningful connections with decision-makers, managing the sales process efficiently, and driving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting using multiple channels, including phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn, to generate high-quality leads.
- Schedule and book qualified meetings with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations.
- Engage professionally and confidently with potential clients, presenting the firm in a polished and credible manner.
- Assess and qualify prospects carefully based on their suitability, potential need, and alignment with the firm’s services.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and activities within the CRM, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Work towards achieving and consistently exceeding agreed activity levels, pipeline targets, and revenue objectives.
Previous experience in a sales-focused role such as SDR, BDM, or business development within a professional environment. Excellent spoken and written English, with a soft or neutral accent and a highly professional telephone manner. Confident in communicating with senior stakeholders, building trust, and presenting value propositions clearly. Comfortable working UK hours while being based remotely in South Africa, maintaining productivity and responsiveness.
