Our client in the UK is looking for a Sales & Customer Service Agent to support their business growth while delivering exceptional service to new and existing clients. This role blends inbound customer support with outbound sales and business development, ensuring clients receive fast, accurate, and professional assistance throughout their engagement with the company. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, manage client relationships, qualify leads, and support the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate understands how to speak to customers in the construction, property, and surveying sectors and is confident in both service and sales interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Client Support
- Respond promptly to inbound enquiries from property owners, developers, contractors, and homeowners.
- Assist clients in understanding which service best fits their needs.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction at all times.
- Sales & Business Development
- Qualify inbound leads and convert them into booked surveys or consultations.
- Proactively follow up with prospects via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Support outbound outreach campaigns as needed (targeting developers, contractors, architects, estate agents, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Operational Support
- Update and manage CRM entries, leads, and pipeline stages.
- Coordinate with surveyors and the operations team to schedule appointments.
- Track sales metrics, conversion rates, and client engagement.
Proven experience in sales, customer service, or client-facing roles, ideally in property, construction, surveying, real estate, or related sectors. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, confident phone manner. Ability to quickly understand client needs and recommend the right service. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once. Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM tools. Must be available to work UK hours.
