Overview
As an Outbound Partner Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in the growth strategy by identifying and engaging potential clients. Your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building. They are launching a new service offering around Microsoft 365 and security – The new Partner Development Manager will play a part in the launch and building of the pipeline for opportunities for the new offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients within your assigned market segment or territory.
- Outbound Communication: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to introduce our products/services and qualify leads.
- Lead Qualification: Assess potential clients' needs, budget, and decision-making process to determine their suitability as qualified leads.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with prospects by understanding their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
- Ability to Demo SaaS products and demonstrate the benefits and value.
- Sales Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to hand over qualified leads and ensure a seamless transition of opportunities.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, lead status, and conversion metrics using CRM software.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and conversion based on quality call and appointment volume targets.
Target audiences: Companies with 20-250 staff. Sectors – Energy, Science, Engineering, Finance, Law. ICP – Business Leaders / IT and Technical Leaders.
Proven experience in outbound business development, sales, and lead generation. Experience in a similar role targeting the UK market is an advantage. Experience within an MSP, IT, Tech, Cloud or Telco based company is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive and engaging communication style. Strong research and prospecting abilities. Self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented. Familiarity with CRM software and GTM tools (HubSpot, Apollo etc.) is a plus.
