Our client in the UK, a rapidly growing digital agency, is looking for a professional, driven and proactive person with SEO experience to join their amazing team of digital marketers!

This is a pivotal role for the business.

They are looking for someone with experience in managing SEO strategies for multiple clients.

Agency experience is a must.

You will work closely with a team of SEOs and content writers, collaborating to develop and implement strategies that drive clients’ organic rankings.

Career progression is available and actively encouraged for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day SEO campaigns for multiple clients, including local, on-site, off-site, and technical SEO.

Establishing KPIs and performance benchmarks, measuring success and providing strategic recommendations for ongoing growth.

Developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic.

Conducting keyword research and optimising website content, including blogs, landing pages, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking.

Performing technical SEO audits and implementing improvements (site speed, crawl errors, schema, mobile optimisation).

Optimising and managing local SEO for clients, including Google Business Profiles, citations, and local keyword targeting.

Providing regular reporting and insights to clients and internal teams.

Creating and optimising content for multiple clients’ websites, including blog posts, landing pages, and meta descriptions, ensuring alignment with the wider SEO strategy and target audience.

Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving SEO performance issues through data-driven analysis and creative problem-solving.

Leading and mentoring junior SEO team members, providing training, guidance, and feedback to support their growth and development.

Identifying new growth opportunities, such as emerging search platforms, voice search, or AI-driven SEO tools.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e. g. developers, designers, PPC, social media, and content teams) to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital marketing activities.

Essential: 2 years+ of experience in on-site, off-site, technical and content SEO, ideally working with multiple clients.

Planned and executed strategic link-building initiatives, including outreach to relevant websites and influencers, to improve search engine rankings and increase site authority.

Implemented and managed tracking tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag Manager to optimise data collection, improve analytics accuracy, and support digital marketing campaigns.

Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and adapt strategies in a fast-changing SEO landscape.

Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.

Strong analytical skills to analyse websites against key competitors to identify opportunities for performance improvements.

Understanding of how to develop technical improvements to websites and their servers.

Experience in generating content for SEO and an understanding of how to optimise the content, including URLs, keywords, meta tags, internal link structure and external links.

An ability to advise on what content should be created to improve organic performance and reach.

Thorough knowledge of white-hat SEO techniques.

Positive, energetic and a great communicator within a team.

Excellent presentation skills.
