Sophis Support Analyst *Sophis experience is a must* | Trading House | Up to £750/Day Inside IR35 | 6 months rolling | LDN Hybrid
Sophis support analyst is needed for a Cross Asset, Trading House in London City. As a Sophis Support analyst, your role will include Identifying workflow improvements and developing controls and automating processes to remove manual errors. Being part of a Successful Live Implementation and Post Live support
- This is a contract role, paying up to £750/Day inside IR35
- 6 Months rolling
- Hybrid way of working, 3 days per week in the office, London City
This Sophis Support role requires an individual to have in depth understanding of sophis – portfolio management and risk management for equity and equity derivatives trading. The team is responsible for providing technical support for a range of front office and post-trade applications.
This includes:
- Trade Capture Systems: These systems record and track all trade transactions.
- Market Data Systems: These systems provide real-time and historical market data.
- Settlement and Clearing Systems: These systems handle the finalization of trades and the transfer of funds.
- Associated Client Applications: These are the applications used by clients to interact with the trading systems.
- Overnight Risk Calculation Systems: These systems calculate and manage risk exposure during overnight trading hours.
- Business Systems for Control and Support Departments: These systems support the internal control and administrative functions of the organization
Overall Responsibilities
- Provide support for all trading and back-office platforms offered by the organisation to both internal and external client base.
- Strong understanding of Sophis – portfolio management and risk management for equity and equity derivatives trading.
- Support business users offering second- and third-line support
