We are looking for a Node.js focused engineer for a FinTech in Trading that builds cross asset trading systems. They are expanding their Enterprise capability and need some extra hands on deck currently. They are going AI first this year and require people to be driven by Agentic AI capabilities.

This team will be covering completely new greenfield work within the business, meaning a lot of opportunities to work on new projects and make an impact across the whole business on large-scale projects. It is essential that this engineer will be able to work on event-driven architecture and specifically have experience with Kafka for distributed event streaming.

There are 2 roles available, both being backend-leaning on Node.js/Typescript with some C# or Python in the past. As a Node.js Developer, your role will be to build out new AI tooling and platforms that will benefit the rest of the teams at the business. You would be working very closely with C-level and Heads of the business to fulfil requirements and redesign parts of the system.

This Node.js focused Software Engineer role is paying up to £130,000 on the top end + bonus + benefits (depending on experience). Located in London City, St Paul's, with 3 days per week from the office.
