The Mission: Reimagining Regulatory Architecture
Our client, a leading global commodities firm, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their Regulatory Technology team at a pivotal moment. This isn’t a maintenance role; you will be a key player in a major architectural redesign, transitioning on-premise systems and reporting processes into a modern Azure environment. You will sit at the intersection of technical innovation and complex global compliance, ensuring the firm remains ahead of a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
In this role, you will do more than just write code; you will own the full-stack delivery of high-performance web applications that power the firm’s global reporting framework. Your work will bridge the gap between complex trading data—integrated tightly with OpenLink Endur and Orchestrade—and the automated submission engines that handle EMIR, MiFID, and Dodd-Frank reporting. This is an opportunity to move beyond standard CRUD development and solve intricate data-modeling challenges in a high-stakes, real-time trading environment.
Beyond the immediate project, you will act as a technical pioneer within the Regulatory Reporting team. You will lead the transition toward a "modern-stack" approach, utilizing Blazor and React for front-end development while engineering scalable back-end microservices in .NET Core. This role offers true end-to-end sovereignty, from technical architecture and functional design to the implementation of automated testing and deployment procedures.
The Technical Bar
- Back-End Mastery: Strong development experience in .NET (C#), with a focus on building scalable, secure, and maintainable service-based applications.
- Front-End Innovation: Hands-on experience building web applications from the ground up using React.
- Cloud & DevOps: Professional experience hosting and migrating applications in Azure, Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
- Data & Modeling: Deep knowledge of database fundamentals and data modeling, with proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.
- Messaging & Tooling: Knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar messaging services.
- Domain Intelligence: A strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks (EMIR, MiFID, REMIT, etc.) and trading/STP processes is highly advantageous.
Why This Role Stands Out
- The Azure Migration Path: You will be at the forefront of the firm’s cloud transformation, moving critical regulatory architecture from on-prem to Azure.
- Architectural Influence: Unlike rigid banking roles, you will participate in the total redesign of the reporting architecture, influencing how the firm handles global data.
- High Trust & Autonomy: You will work in a high-trust environment where you are expected to operate autonomously, communicating directly with project stakeholders and technical leads.
- Tier-1 Trading Exposure: Gain deep technical experience with industry-standard trading platforms like Endur and Orchestrade.
