Overview
A Python Developer with some React front-end experience is required by a leading institution and its asset management team, specialising in asset classes like FX, Equities, and Fixed Income trade execution. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, data-intensive front office environment, building scalable tools to support traders and risk analysts, offering you the chance to shape the system architecture and tech stack from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Building out a platform for the Investments Division in the front office
- Working closely with Front Office and Risk to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Helping centralise data for improved reporting and visualisation
- Collaborating with stakeholders across trading desks
Tech Stack & Experience
- Strong Python skills in a trading environment (ideally front office)
- Experience with NumPy, Pandas, Parquet
- Exposure to Azure for cloud deployment is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills – must be confident working closely with stakeholders
Offer
- Up to £120,000 base salary + discretionary bonus, with potential to exceed based on performance
