Responsibilities
- Own and refine maritime product requirements, supporting analysis and decision-making, and work closely with multiple delivery teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery, alongside user testing, training, and application support to drive successful adoption and tangible business outcomes.
- Translate business and operational needs into well-defined user stories and a clearly prioritised backlog for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are customer-focused, data-driven, and aligned with broader business objectives.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in product ownership or product management roles, with strong experience translating business requirements into actionable delivery backlogs.
- At least 3 years of experience working on products or platforms within shipping or maritime environments.
- A strong delivery mindset, with a passion for improving products through continuous iteration, feedback, and optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail in documentation, analysis, and acceptance criteria.
- Good knowledge of agile methodologies and ceremonies, with hands-on experience working closely with engineering and delivery teams.
- Familiarity with calculation models or operational data is advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand end-to-end business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and clearly articulate the value of delivered features and enhancements.
