Network Manager is needed for a cross Asset Trading house who operate globally and are looking to double in size from 3,000 to 6,000 in the next 3-5 years. The firm is a high-performance cross-asset trading firm operating globally across multiple markets. With a diverse portfolio spanning equities, fixed income, FX, and digital assets, they rely on cutting-edge technology and low-latency infrastructure to drive their trading edge. As they enter a phase of rapid growth—set to double headcount and global presence—they are looking for a seasoned Network Manager to lead, scale, and future-proof networking capability to facilitate the growth.
As a Network Manager, you will lead a team of 13 highly skilled network engineers supporting the global trading environment. Your mission is to ensure ultra-low-latency, high-resilience, and secure network operations across multiple asset classes and geographies. You will be instrumental in scaling the clients’ network systems, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence as the firm rapidly expands.
- Paying up to £180,000 + Bonus + Benefits
- 3-4 days per week in the office
- Closest stations are Liverpool Street, Bank & Moorgate
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 13 skilled Network Engineers across multiple regions.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) architecture, including integration with existing environments.
- Oversee all aspects of Palo Alto firewall management and policy governance across data centers and cloud environments.
- Manage projects & the team to ensure network scalability and performance as the organization prepares to double in size through acquisitions and global expansion.
- Define and implement SLAs, monitoring, and incident response protocols.
- Lead network integration and rationalization strategies during M&A activities.
