Commodities & Energy Trading House is undergoing a major transformation programme focused on changing how Technology delivers to the Trading business. As part of this, they are looking for a Senior Energy Business Analyst to help bridge the gap between Front Office users and Technology teams.
This is not a role for someone focused on “flashy” technology or architecture for the sake of it. The business is specifically looking for someone who can sit with traders, operations and business users, understand how they actually work day-to-day, and help shape practical, functional solutions that improve the trading business.
The environment is highly business-facing, with direct exposure to Front Office, Risk, Operations and Finance teams across Gas and Power trading. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business workflows, operational pain points and trading lifecycle requirements into structured deliverables for development and delivery teams.
As a Senior Energy Business Analyst, you will be required to engage closely with users across the trading floor, facilitate workshops, challenge requirements, improve processes and drive structured delivery across a complex transformation programme. Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial understanding are absolutely critical for success in this role.

- Supporting UAT, migration testing, reconciliation and business readiness activities

- Acting as the bridge between business users and technology delivery teams in a highly collaborative environment
