As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role within a fast-paced FX trading house, operating at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevOps excellence, and electronic trading infrastructure. Working in a business specialising in risk management and hedging solutions across foreign exchange and commodity markets, you will architect, automate, and optimise a high-availability Azure cloud platform that underpins OTC derivatives trading, brokerage execution, and real-time risk management systems. This environment directly enables pricing, execution, and market responsiveness, supporting an Azure-native electronic FX trading platform for OTC spot, forward, swap, and options trading across institutional clients. The programme focuses on modernising and scaling FX infrastructure on Azure, improving pricing engine performance, liquidity connectivity, automated trade capture, and real-time exposure management.
You will partner closely with development and trading technology teams to embed security, governance, and resilience directly into the software delivery lifecycle. This includes designing and enhancing secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, implementing automated code quality and dependency scanning, and introducing policy-as-code guardrails through Azure-native tooling. You will work across services such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Key Vault, RBAC, and container security controls, ensuring trading applications are deployed with robust security, auditability, and compliance standards expected in a front-office trading environment, while still enabling rapid and reliable delivery of high-performance trading functionality.
Salary: Up to £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits
