A Front Office Python Engineer is required for a large, complex commodity trading organisation undertaking a strategic incorporation of Python into their Front Office IT. This role will take front office built mock ups and strategically build them in a way that they can be consumed by the wider front office IT ecosystem. You will work very closely with front office stakeholders, as well as reporting directly into the head of front office IT for this global energy trading company.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing the front office trading systems in Python
- Expanding Python capabilities and contributing to the development of Market Risk Limits and Potential Future Exposure (PFE) engines.
- Support the Head of Front Office IT in designing and improving the trading systems.
- Optimise metrics and KPIs to maximise the value derived from data assets.
