Business Analyst needed for an Energy / Utilities client looking for a Business Analyst to support the delivery of a large-scale digital transformation across their field services organisation. As a Business Analyst on the digitalisation & tech transformation of this major utilities player, you'll be in a fast paced environment, where there are frequent deliveries.
As a Business Analyst, you'll lead projects and be accountable for delivery, working with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and work with tech teams to help shape solutions. You'll play a core role in discovery, analysis, and delivery, with a particular focus on using Miro, Jira, and Confluence. This role is highly hands-on and requires someone who can lead structured discovery, visualise complex problems, and bring clarity to delivery teams through well-managed backlogs and documentation. You will be expected to actively shape how these tools are used, rather than simply maintain them.
Remote (Occasional travel to HQ offices in London / Liverpool / Dartford when required for demos etc...)
Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
- Contribute to workshops, analysing current-state processes, and identifying opportunities for optimisation and value creation.
- Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to define epics, features, and user stories, manage and refine the Jira backlog, and support agile ceremonies including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Maintain high-quality documentation in Confluence, supporting UAT activities, ensuring traceability from discovery through to delivery, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
