My client is seeking a hands-on EUC Leader to take ownership of our End User Computing function within a fast-paced financial services environment. The successful candidate will manage and develop a team of engineers, split across Citrix and EndPoint, while also providing deep technical expertise in EUC technologies. This role sits between the Service Desk and EndPoint teams and will play a key part in driving efficiency, offloading escalations, and ensuring stability across the EUC estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the EndPoint team across Citrix (apps and desktops) and EndPoint (device management and support).
- Act as the senior escalation point for EUC issues and drive resolution.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across a complex EUC landscape, including: Windows OS management, Intune, Citrix (on-prem and Citrix Cloud), AWS Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Endpoint Manager / Endpoint Centre, SCCM.
- Oversee application packaging and deployment processes.
- Ensure device management and security policies are robust and aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver scalable EUC solutions.
- Provide strategic oversight while remaining hands-on where required.
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
Key Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience across core EUC technologies: Windows, Intune, Citrix (Cloud & Desktop), AWS Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Endpoint Centre, SCCM, and application packaging.
- Proven leadership experience managing EUC or EndPoint teams, ideally in a growing financial services organisation.
- Background in financial services is essential; investment banking experience would be advantageous.
- Comfortable managing teams in an enterprise-scale environment (company size similar to or larger than ours).
- Ability to remain hands-on, while delegating and offloading escalations effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
