We have a great opportunity for a Mid-Level .NET / Full Stack Developer to join a growing payments company.
As a .NET Developer, you’ll be working as part of an experienced engineering team building and scaling a high-throughput payments platform. The business is entering its next phase of growth, launching new products, enabling new partner integrations, and expanding a platform that already powers multiple live financial services products used globally.
You’ll be contributing to a modern, cloud-native platform built with .NET and Azure, designed around API-first architecture and event-driven microservices. The platform supports complex payment flows, partner integrations, and high-volume transaction processing.
This is a hands-on development role where you’ll work closely with senior engineers to deliver reliable, scalable systems while continuing to develop your technical expertise within a modern fintech environment.
Working closely with Product, Data, Risk, and Platform teams, you’ll help build secure, scalable services that power real-time financial transactions.
- 2–3 days per week in the office – City of London
- Up to £450/day Outside IR35
- Initial 6-month contract
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain .NET services powering a global payments platform
- Contribute to event-driven microservices running in Azure
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs used by internal systems and external partners
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system design and implementation
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
- Support the team in delivering scalable and reliable distributed systems
What we’re looking for
- Experience developing applications with .NET / C#
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of microservices or event-driven architectures
- Experience working in agile engineering teams
