A leading organisation operating within a highly technical, data-driven environment requires a Senior C#/.NET, Angular, SQL Server Software Developer to join its Data Engineering Team, taking ownership of the development and evolution of business-critical applications that process and deliver value from large volumes of data.
As a Senior C#.NET, Angular, SQL Server Software Developer, you’ll work closely with the engineering teams, architects and business stakeholders to design, develop and enhance scalable software solutions using C#.NET and Angular. This is an excellent opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor other developers and contribute to the continued evolution of a sophisticated data platform.
The Senior C#.NET, Angular, SQL Server Software Developer role:
- Take a leading role in developing and maintaining data-oriented systems that support large-scale data processing, real-time data systems and business-critical applications.
- Design scalable backend services, modern web applications and robust technical solutions that support key business functions.
- Be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of functionality, from requirements analysis and solution design through to implementation, testing and release.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to influence platform architecture, contribute to engineering standards, mentor developers through code reviews and work closely with business users to deliver high-quality solutions.
Package: This Senior C#.NET, Angular, SQL Server Software Developer role is paying up to £90K + bonus + benefits. Hybrid working. 3 days per week in the office.
Skills Required for the Senior role:
- Expert commercial experience developing applications using C#/.NET and ASP.NET, with strong knowledge of software engineering principles and architecture.
- Experience designing and delivering complex, data-intensive applications using SQL Server and modern development practices.
- Strong understanding of scalable software development including testing, SOLID principles, dependency injection, observability, monitoring and containerisation.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction, mentor developers and collaborate effectively with engineers, architects and business stakeholders.
