A leading multinational firm specialising in commercial real estate and investment is seeking a service application engineer. This project focuses on the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of a Building Management System (BMS) to ensure the efficient operation of building services and environmental controls.
The role involves performing both scheduled and reactive maintenance, identifying and resolving system issues, and implementing enhancements to improve performance and ensure compliance with regulations. It also requires working closely with clients, site management, and technical teams to maintain smooth operations and support the integration of smart systems and IoT devices. Acting as a technical SME, you will clearly articulate solutions to customers, ensuring issues are resolved in a way that meets both client and business objectives.
The services application engineer role also includes mentoring and coaching team members on control software, analytical tools, and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of technical capability across the account.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly Tridium and EasyIO.
- Experience with BMS communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services, with fundamental IT networking knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system faults.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Degree or minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC controls, mechanical systems or controls design - Accredited HVAC apprenticeship also considered.
