Application Support analyst with 2-4 years experience required for an energy trading house, to work in an app support team that are at the forefront of the business, working directly with Energy traders and Gas & power analysts, to ensure all front office trading applications have best practice applied, upgrades, testing and procedures.
As an application support engineer in this team you will be the interface between the Front office Energy traders and Analysts and different IT teams should additional responsibility/help outside of application support be required. This Application support role would suit someone who has graduated within the last 4 years, has exposure to a regulated environment, and wants to take the next step into a Front Office environment.
As an application support analyst you’ll provide app support to both in-house and vendor applications, taking ownership of major incident management, diagnosing and resolving day-to-day live system incidents across a range of systems, bespoke and off-the-shelf.
As an application support engineer in the front office, and the team the Traders and Energy analysts come to for support queries you will monitor the availability, performance and throughput of supported applications, as well as liaise with other support/development teams to resolve critical issues.
Hybrid working: 3 days per week in office
Tech: Strong SQL Server, Scripting & automation languages & tools, any AI experience is a ++
