An established Asset Manager is seeking a proactive Application Support Analyst to join their Front Office technology function. This is a hands-on role supporting business-critical trading and investment systems, where you’ll work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and cross-functional tech teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the availability and reliability of trading applications—handling incident resolution, improving system performance, and contributing to the evolution of internal tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line support for core trading and investment platforms
- Investigate and resolve real-time application issues, minimising disruption to the business
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and support tooling
- Manage and query databases using SQL; maintain awareness of data flows and schemas
- Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and front office teams to maintain robust system performance
- Participate in platform upgrades, deployments, and change management processes
- Ensure best practices in monitoring, incident management, and operational support
Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS are essential.
