The role of the Application Support Analyst centres on delivering both technical and procedural assistance to internal teams and external stakeholders. Acting as a key point of contact for issue resolution, the analyst will manage incidents, troubleshoot day-to-day application problems, and ensure swift resolution of outages.

This position involves close collaboration with infrastructure, service desk, and broader IT teams, requiring a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership across all support-related responsibilities. This role will be working within the Front Office Teams and requires someone with experience on Trading Platforms and preference to candidates with exposure to FIX Connectivity.

Proficient in Windows and Linux/Unix environments with solid understanding of SQL, Oracle databases, and server-side infrastructure, including platforms like ION, IBM MQ, Deltix, TT, and ATEO. Background in financial services (preferably banking), with insight into trading, clearing, and settlement processes across futures, OTC energy, and global markets.

Excellent communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder management skills; capable of building relationships across development teams, business users, and external vendors. Highly methodical with experience in ITIL frameworks, change management, and a focus on continuously improving systems and processes.

Skilled in API onboarding, FIX messaging, market connectivity protocols, and supporting high-frequency trading platforms; able to work shifts and manage critical upgrades. Prior experience supporting clients in a technical advisory role, with an understanding of compliance, risk, and regulated environments. Strong PowerShell experience is a must!
