Virtue Vets is London's leading luxury veterinary care and pet wellness group. We combine premium veterinary medicine with exceptional client experience, modern clinic design, and innovative technology to create a unique healthcare experience for pets and their owners.
We're looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Content Manager who can take ownership of our digital presence across social media, website, video, and advertising channels. You must be exceptional at creating content yourself. This includes video. You must have exceptional aesthetic acumen and the ability to create beautiful, stunning and evocative content - static and video. You must know how to shoot and edit video and photos yourself using not just an iPhone but also regular cameras. We do hire good photographers and videographers, but you must be able to supplement their outputs with yours. You must be a true artist and a true creative - not just someone who studied graphic design, although this is an important qualification. You must have a degree in graphic design, art, film or design. This role is not suitable for someone who is only interested in curation or directing others to do work. This role is also not suitable for someone who just fell into social media organically and primarily uses iPhone and CapCut.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating, managing, and publishing engaging content across all Virtue Vets digital channels. It is worth repeating that this is a role for someone who is comfortable creating content themselves rather than managing external agencies. You will work directly for the CMO and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Virtue Vets' social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Create engaging social content including reels, carousels, stories, graphics, and short-form videos.
- Edit and produce video content for social media, paid advertising, and website use.
- Design marketing materials for both digital and print campaigns.
- Maintain and update website content, imagery, landing pages, and promotional materials.
- Create assets for paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, and other platforms.
- Capture content in clinics, including photography and video footage.
- Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity, creativity, and content output.
- Monitor content performance and continuously improve engagement and conversion rates.
Requirements
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or graphic design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both graphic design and video content.
- Proven experience creating content for social media growth and engagement.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent).
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, captions, and short-form content.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer psychology, and content performance.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and execute projects from concept to completion.
- Comfortable using AI tools to create content more efficiently.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns.
- Experience updating websites (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or similar platforms).
- Photography and videography skills.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, lifestyle, luxury, or pet-related brands.
