About Us

Virtue Vets is a premium veterinary group building a new standard of pet care across London. We combine clinical excellence with a design-forward, hospitality-led experience for pets and pet parents. Our stunning, architecturally designed clinics reflect the same care we put into every consultation, delivering a premium client experience from the moment you walk through the door. We are scaling quickly, with plans to grow to 50 UK locations and expand internationally. We are looking for exceptional people who want to help shape what modern veterinary care looks like.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running and growth of our multi-site veterinary group. This is an on-site, hands-on role, with most of your time spent in our clinics solving problems, supporting teams, and ensuring each site operates to a high standard. You will work closely with clinic teams, Lead Vets, Head Nurses, Front of House teams, and the Operations Director to improve client experience, operational performance, and consistency across the business. You will also work closely with the Property Director and Maintenance Manager to resolve property- and equipment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the operational point of contact for clinics.
  • Resolve day-to-day operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Oversee housekeeping standards across all clinics.
  • Improve client journeys and ensure brand standards are met at every touchpoint.
  • Work with clinical and Front of House teams to improve workflows within the clinics.
  • Ensure clinics consistently follow operational SOPs, health and safety requirements, compliance processes, and brand standards.
  • Support the rollout of new services, systems, processes, and growth initiatives.
  • Build clear action plans following clinic visits and ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • Manage operational costs and budget items assigned to you.

About You

  • Experience managing high-end spas, gyms, aesthetic or beauty clinics, healthcare facilities, hospitality venues, or premium retail businesses, ideally within a fast-growing company.
  • Proven experience in an operational, service-delivery, or multi-site management role.
  • A fast learner and fast worker, able to thrive in a rapidly evolving scale-up environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, calm approach under pressure.
  • Able to multitask effectively and manage responsibilities through to completion.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to execute precisely.
  • Strong organisation, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Proven experience with rotas, staffing, suppliers, facilities, inventory, basic finance controls, and compliance.
  • Commercially aware and confident using data to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Comfortable using operational systems, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools.
