Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Graphic Designer, based in the London area, United Kingdom. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual assets such as graphics, logos, and branding materials that align with Virtue Vets' aesthetic. Duties include conceptualizing and executing visual designs, refining visual content for marketing materials, and maintaining consistency across various design outputs. You must generate stunning content for Instagram - reels, covers, carousels etc. You would create high quality and visually appealing layouts and content for sponsored ads, traditional marketing, print publications, signage and graphics for website and socials. You must be AI literate and able to use AI to speed up your output and make it more impactful.
Must Haves:
- 4+ years experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio
- Good at both static content as well as video content and/or animation/text overlays.
- Exceptionally strong with advanced graphics packages (not just Canva and Capcut).
- Deep portfolio of high quality content that you have created for previous employers or clients
- Strong grasp of advanced design principles, use of space, imagery and colour
- Strong grasp of behavioural marketing to influence emotions and buying decisions
- Able to create connections, build loyalty, and educate clientele through graphic imagery
- Understand and articulate the ethos, values and brand of the client
- Strong copywriting skills
- Good understanding of pets and pet parents
Basic Qualifications:
- Expertise in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio showcasing creative work
- Strong skills in Logo Design and Branding, with a keen eye for detail and visual identity
- Proficiency in Typography, good understanding of typeface selection and layout design
- Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software, Adobe Creative Suite is a must
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to interpret client and team needs
- Experience in designing for the wellness industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
