The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients. We are looking for a strong construction/fitouts project manager who can also manage site/facilities maintenance and run a tight ship. Procurement and contracts management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with all physical and real estate aspects of a small business with multiple retail sites
  • Keep retail clinic fitout projects on track and accelerate pace where possible
  • Focus on cost control and cost reduction
  • Manage individual delegated tasks to completion
  • Manage fitout contractors and construction crew on a daily basis, removing roadblocks
  • Manage installation/maintenance engineers, facilities service providers and cleaners
  • Coordinate equipment vendors and suppliers
  • Manage logistics, storage, shipping and receiving
  • Handy and can assemble furniture and equipment, and make quick maintenance fixes
  • Should be able to lend a hand to do occasional heavy lifting (physically moving things)
  • Should be comfortable with commonly used office software apps (e.g. Word, Excel, Email, WhatsApp, Physical Asset Management Software)
  • Should be comfortable with online purchasing and e-commerce for procurement of equipment and supplies
