About Virtue Vets

Virtue Vets is a premium veterinary group building a new standard of pet care across London. We combine clinical excellence with a design-forward, hospitality-led experience for pets and pet parents. Our architecturally designed clinics reflect the same care we put into every consultation, delivering a premium experience from the moment you walk through the door. We are scaling fast, with plans to grow to 50 UK locations and expand internationally, and we are looking for exceptional people who want to help shape what modern veterinary care looks like.

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to support the day-to-day running and growth of our multi-site veterinary group. This is an on-site, execution-focused role, with most of your time spent in our clinics working alongside clients and local clinical teams to craft and deliver marketing programmes. You will report to the CMO and work closely with the broader marketing team, acting as their right hand in turning strategy into action. You will also spend time with Front of House and the Tech Team to improve client experience, operational performance and consistency across the business, and work closely with the Property Director and Maintenance Manager to ensure high brand standards are maintained across every clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the right hand to the CMO, helping translate strategy into clear, well-executed action across the business.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing programmes and activity across all channels, ensuring consistency and quality throughout.
  • Coordinate marketing team activities, keeping projects on track and deadlines met.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all marketing programmes and events across the clinic network.
  • Build clear action plans for marketing initiatives and ensure agreed actions are followed through to completion.
  • Own and maintain an integrated marketing calendar, ensuring it reflects the most current campaigns and information across the business and is kept up to date at all times.
  • Stay aware of the competitive landscape and notify the team of relevant activity, trends or positioning from other brands in the market.
  • Coordinate events, marketing outreach and guerrilla marketing campaigns across our clinics and local communities.
  • Plan and run surveys and leafleting campaigns to build local awareness and gather client insight.
  • Plan and deliver clinic events end to end, including budgets, suppliers and on-the-ground delivery.
  • Own the events calendar, coordinating with clinical and Front of House teams for smooth delivery.
  • Capture content and feedback from events to inform reporting and future planning.
  • Manage relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers, including briefing, content and performance tracking.
  • Support co-marketing partnerships with aligned local businesses, pet brands and lifestyle organisations.
  • Build relationships with local businesses and community groups to increase visibility in each clinic's catchment area.
  • Maintain accurate partner and ambassador records, tracking activity and outcomes.
  • Coordinate digital media publishing schedules across our channels, working closely with the Social Media Manager.
  • Support SEO and Google Ads activity, coordinating with the paid media partner and maintaining accurate performance reporting for the CMO.
  • Manage promotional campaigns end to end, ensuring information is clearly displayed in the appropriate channels and updated accordingly as campaigns evolve.
  • Create and update marketing collateral using the Adobe suite of products, ensuring all materials remain current, accurate and on-brand.
  • Ensure promotional pricing, offers and terms are accurate and compliant before going live across any channel.
  • Notify clinic teams of live and upcoming campaigns so they are equipped to communicate accurately with clients.
  • Improve customer journeys across every touchpoint, working with Front of House and clinical teams.
  • Ensure brand standards are consistently met and maintained across all clinics, working with the Property Director and Maintenance Manager.
  • Build deep insight into customer behaviour, using customer segmentation and profiling to inform marketing decisions.
  • Support the rollout of new services, systems, processes and growth initiatives across the clinic network.
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical, operations and property teams to ensure smooth execution of new initiatives.
  • Manage marketing costs and budget items, ensuring spend is tracked and accounted for.
  • Use data and commercial insight to identify issues and opportunities, reporting findings and recommendations to the CMO.

We recognise that no job description can capture every aspect of a role. As Virtue Vets continues to grow, responsibilities may evolve to meet the needs of our patients, clients and business.

  • Graphic design and video capture skills, with experience using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma and CapCut.
  • Deep understanding of both traditional and digital marketing.

  • Experience running advertising campaigns, surveys and leafleting activity.
  • Experience training front of house, client acquisition or floor sales staff.
  • Strong understanding of customer behaviour, segmentation and profiling.
  • Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint and scheduling tools such as Monday or Notion.

  • Deliver marketing programmes and events that strengthen our brand and drive local awareness.
  • Build smooth, scalable marketing workflows that support our growing clinic network.
  • Improve client experience and ensure brand standards are met consistently across every location.
