The Company: An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s instantly recognisable FMCG manufacturers, a leading manufacturer specialising in food manufacturing. The Role: Supporting the Projects Manager with the planning, building, installation and commissioning of all elements of new build project work across the Group. Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work in, or visit, any of our manufacturing facilities. Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies and energy optimisation. Managing projects contractor performance whilst on site to ensure the most effective and efficient fix. Supporting the introduction of new equipment to our market‑leading production facilities as part of our continued drive for innovation. Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations where required. Continuous professional development through industry specific training. Working with our technical team to ensure audit readiness at all times.
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar project engineering role, including the planning and delivery of new installations.
- Demonstrable hands‑on experience of project planning, including the administration associated with production and presentation of GANTT charts, timelines, project plans, etc.
- Time served multi‑skilled engineer as this role will require hands‑on support.
- Great communicator.
- A true problem solver in all areas.
