Responsibilities
- Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate with contractors.
- Work on a continental shift pattern, ensuring site needs are met around the clock.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in complex systems.
- Operate and maintain PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, automated machinery, motors, and drives.
- Lead mechanical point‑of‑view process improvement projects on site.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of processes within a highly focused engineering group.
Qualifications
- Apprentice‑trained electrical engineer with proven experience in PLC systems & automated machinery.
- Hands‑on experience in fault‑finding and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Good working knowledge of PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives and related control systems.
- Health & Safety awareness and adherence to industry safety standards.
- Minimum of a complete apprenticeship and a strong aptitude for engineering problem solving.
