The Role:
Due to further expansion, the client is recruiting into its shift engineering management team; you will be involved in engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on a number of fast moving packaging lines. The ideal candidate will come from a supervisory/manufacturing background and be able to work on preventative maintenance tasks. You may have a mechanical or electrical background with hands on experience from within a high speed automated factory environment.
On a day to day basis you will manage a skilled team of 40 multi‐skilled engineers, have strong people management skills and, whilst monitoring day to day KPIs, work with an SAP PPM system.
