Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + Pension + Overtime

Days: 40 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday, 9am-5pm

My client is a world leader in the development of specialist high performance packaging solutions and is extremely well established. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into several blue chip manufacturing organisations with a reputation for product quality and reliability.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Mechanical Engineer
• Experience of Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain all machinery and equipment associated with the Corrugator
• Support the optimisation and technical improvement of operations
• Keep maintenance standards and work on improvement projects
• React to breakdowns
• Weekly preventative maintenance
• Schedule engineering and maintenance works
• Monthly stock-take of spare parts
• Assist the Production Manager by taking on delegated engineering tasks
• Comply with Company Health and Safety rules and procedures
• Assist with wider engineering works and support the engineering team as required
• Ongoing training and development with potential for future career progression
