Drying Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drying Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking and managing the restoration of water and fire damaged properties. Responsibilities

• Operate various drying machinery and equipment with precision and care to achieve desired moisture levels.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine strip out.
• Monitor process parameters continuously, making real-time adjustments to optimise drying performance.
• Conduct inspections of materials before, during, and after the drying process to ensure appropriate post restoration reinstatement works are scheduled.
• Maintain detailed logs of operational data, equipment status and power consumption.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of tools and adherence to safety guidelines in a construction environment.
• Collaborate with team members to improve procedures, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.

Requirements

• Prior experience and competence undertaking restoration work.
• Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and working within a construction environments.
• Ability to read technical manuals and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Construction experience or familiarity with construction and repair work.
