An online based practice providing streamlined accounting services for small businesses. Ideal for Soletraders and small businesses. We use the latest software solutions to automate processes wherever possible so we can focus on high value, high impact tasks and providing a seamless experience for our clients. Unlike traditional accounting practices, our Accounts Assistants are focused on complex situations and client relationships.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, who is not afraid to take responsibility and has excellent time management skills. As an Accounts Assistant, you will always be striving for self‑improvement and you will develop your career. You must have experience of managing your own caseload of clients and preparing the bookkeeping and month end close. This is predominantly a remote role but will require some visits to our office which is situated in Peterborough city centre. This role would suit a flexible, hard‑working individual who is passionate about providing a modern accounting service with a focus on the client experience – not just meeting deadlines and filing returns.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of clients bookkeeping & VAT returns
  • Support in onboarding clients including requesting necessary documents, arranging and setting up accounting software
Skills & Experience
  • Part‑qualified accountant or AAT.
  • Experience using Xero, Hubdoc, Receipt Bank and FreeAgent.
  • Ability to work remotely (must have appropriate working space at home).
  • Self‑starter and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to take ownership and initiative with your client portfolio.
