What you will do:
As a motivated Functional Safety Engineer, you will join our highly agile team in designing and developing safety critical systems at our premises and client locations. As an ideal candidate you will have direct interface with development teams for requirements per Functional safety ISO 26262 and SOTIF ISO 21448 standards. This is an opportunity to work side-by-side with OEM’s experience beside product development lifecycle.
- Onsite working with OEM development teams in designing Functional Safety & SOTIF requirements
- Conduct safety analysis, reviews and assessments
- Develop and validate safety mechanisms and safety concepts
- Support safety validation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams with focus to OEM’s strategy and Safety culture
You would need to have:
- Master’s or Bachelor\’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related field
- years of experience in functional safety engineering in the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 safety standards
- Know-how on safety analysis HARA, FTA, DFA, and FMEA
- Experience with functional safety process and methodologies according to plan
- Alignment with system and safety teams in finalising safety requirements with cross functional teams
- Experience in defining vehicle safety validation
- Support in Vehicle level safety assessments
- Experience in FMEDA analysis and safety Diagnostics coverage is a plus
