Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical/electronic background and a knack for mechanical engineering? We are looking for a professional to join our Client, specializing in the installation, servicing, and repair of Vibration Test Equipment Systems. This role involves both UK and international travel and may occasionally require flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance at customer sites following recommended procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Provide on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services for Vibration Test Equipment across the UK and overseas, sometimes at short notice.
  • Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • NVQ Level 2/BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • HNC in a relevant field, with knowledge of vibration testing, is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial plant maintenance and a solid background in engineering.
  • Expertise in industrial electronic systems, mechanical fitting, and electrical/electronic principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable with the flexibility to work non-standard hours.
  • Valid passport and full UK driving license.
  • Comfortable working with 3-phase and high-voltage/current systems.

Daily Activities
