Our client is seeking an experienced Commodity Manager to lead sourcing activities across high-value aircraft engine components, including Life Limited Parts (LLPs), cases, and frames. This is a senior-level position suited to a commercially driven aviation aftermarket professional with strong supplier relationships, market knowledge, and the ability to source constrained material in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for LLPs, cases, and frames
  • Source and secure high-value engine material through dealers, teardown providers, brokers, and MRO networks
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers, OEMs, airlines, lessors, and aftermarket partners
  • Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and commercial terms
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to support production and minimise supply risk
  • Monitor market activity, fleet transitions, and availability trends to identify sourcing opportunities
  • Ensure all technical documentation, traceability, and compliance standards are met

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years’ experience in aviation sourcing, MRO supply chain, or engine component procurement
  • Strong knowledge of the aircraft engine aftermarket and serviceable material market
  • Proven ability to source hard-to-find, high-value components under pressure
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or related field
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
