About the Role: Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced Chefs to join a fast-paced and high-performing catering operation at Glasgow Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, customer-focused environment, preparing high-quality dishes for airline customers while maintaining industry-leading standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting a range of dishes
- Supporting food presentations for airline customers
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workstation
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Carrying out manual handling tasks such as bending and reaching when required
- Completing additional duties as requested
Requirements:
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2, or NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Catering
- Have previous experience working as a Chef in a catering environment
- Be fully knife trained
- Have strong knowledge of a wide range of cuisines, including traditional and contemporary dishes
- Be comfortable working shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
- Be physically capable of manual handling duties
