Blue Arrow are looking for reliable and proficient HGV Drivers to navigate around the local routes, collecting refuse and recycling waste on different rounds. If you're looking for a new long term contract then please apply today!
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Drive along specified routes, collecting refuse/recycling waste in a timely manner
- Check routes for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient
- Complete paperwork, including the jobs you complete, and problems occurred
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues to the workshop
- Follow site rules and regulations, including the correct use of PPE
Shift times: Monday to Friday with potential evening and weekend overtime AM shift starting 5AM, 6AM or 7AM PM shift (12.30-21:30).
£16.93 per hour (Weekdays) with the possibility of higher rate for Weekend and OT. Candidates will be able to start once enhanced compliance checks are complete (right to work, work references, proof of address, proof of National Insurance Number etc).
