Bar staff required to cover shifts over the next few months!
Salary: £11.44
Location: MK40, Bedford
Hours: 6am – 11pm, Monday – Sunday (shift work)
Job Purpose
Provide effective bar assistant. Liaise closely with customers, suppliers and other in-house services to ensure that events held within the venue are delivered to a professional standard.
1 Provide a friendly, effective and efficient support, to management, work colleagues, volunteers and customers to ensure the smooth operation of the bar service.
2 Prepare and assist Under the instruction of management, the preparation of bar facilities in readiness for functions to ensure its operation to the standard expected by customers.
3 Carry out cleaning of the venue between shows and events to provide a clean and safe environment for customers.
4 Undertake regular checks of the bar to identify any defects or show and event related issues, reporting these to the senior member of staff on duty, to ensure the safety and security of the venue and its customers, and adherence to any licensing conditions.
5 Liaise with and respond to hirers and customers over any complaints or requests, reporting these to the senior member of staff on duty as necessary, in order to provide effective customer service and ensure the safe operation of the venue.
6 Respond to any emergencies or accidents which occur while on duty to help ensure the safety of customers in the venue.
7 To attend where necessary Staff training and meetings To ensure effective delivery of the bar service
Please note that, as this is agency work, the number of shifts may fluctuate depending on demand. There will be both busier and quieter periods, so we cannot guarantee a set number of hours each week. However, we will strive to offer shifts that align with your availability whenever possible.
