About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to work in a variety of settings across the South West. This role is ideal for someone who values making a difference in people’s lives and wants flexible working options to suit their lifestyle and family needs. There are a variety of shifts available, including Early, Late, Twilight, Nights, and Sleep‑Ins, with both Block Booking and Locum opportunities on offer. They currently have some unique opportunities including providing 1:1 support to residents with complex needs in nursing home settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care and emotional support with empathy and respect
  • Assist with mobility, daily routines, and engagement in activities
  • Encourage independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
  • Collaborate with staff and wider care teams
  • Maintain clear records and uphold safeguarding and confidentiality standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care or support role (nursing home experience desirable)
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Up‑to‑date training or willingness to complete mandatory courses
