They are seeking a Test Engineer with a passion for technology, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This is a client-facing role where you will develop test automation and manual testing skills while contributing to project delivery within Agile and DevOps teams. Role Objectives
- Design and build automation, web services/API, performance, and accessibility test frameworks integrated with CI/CD
- Propose solutions to clients as needed
- Plan and execute exploratory and automated testing throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify, document, track, and resolve quality issues and defects in the defect tracking system
- Own and manage release processes to ensure smooth product delivery
- Collaborate closely with developers, junior test engineers, and cross-functional Scrum teams to increase test coverage and reduce bottlenecks
- Maintain and update regression suites as products evolve
- Work effectively in a DevOps and Agile environment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Selenium and other test frameworks (BDD, Cucumber, Nightwatch JS)
- Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python
- API testing experience with Rest Assured or Postman
- Performance testing experience with JMeter or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Passion for IT and emerging technologies
Security Clearance Requirement
- Due to the nature of government client work, candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC)
- Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5+ years
