We are now seeking a Family Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Family Executive to join their team.
Salary: £40-65K DOE plus bonuses and excellent benefits package.
Key Requirements
- Qualified legal professional with a minimum of 1 year PQE and a confident, proactive approach to managing a caseload.
- Must-have skills and experience:
- Qualified Family Solicitor or Legal Executive.
- Experience across matrimonial matters, injunctions, and private children law.
- Advocacy experience and confidence attending court.
- Excellent time management, organisational and IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Any Legal Aid experience would also be advantageous.
Role & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of family matters, with a particular focus on private law children and injunctions. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to run files from instruction through to resolution while being part of a well-supported and collegiate legal team. Responsibilities include:
- Handling divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, and injunction applications.
- Providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
- Conducting advocacy in court where appropriate.
- Managing Legal Aid cases (where applicable).
- Maintaining accurate file records and adhering to compliance requirements.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
