We’re hiring for a number of SC Cleared Senior Technical Architects, for a Government Department, to help shape and modernise digital services that support access to legal aid. You will work across multiple delivery teams, providing technical direction, architectural leadership, and clear guidance on secure, scalable system design.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and maintain the architectural roadmap
- Guide delivery teams on strategic principles and integration patterns
- Produce architectural artefacts, including diagrams and future‑state designs
- Assess technology choices across infrastructure, data, and security
- Provide technical oversight and mentor architects and engineers
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience as a technical or solution architect in complex digital environments
- Solid engineering background with modern architectures (APIs, microservices, distributed systems)
- Hands‑on cloud experience (AWS, including IaC and security)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of Ruby, Python or Java, and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD and TDD
Desirable:
- Understanding of government digital standards
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle
- Exposure to DDD, event‑driven approaches, SRE or platform engineering
