FURNITURE & ARTWORK FITTER
Department: Operations
Responsible to: Operations Manager
Overview
The role of the Furniture and Artwork Fitter is to install artwork, bric-a-brac, furniture and fixed seating at client premises across the United Kingdom. Delivering the end result of exciting projects, the role works with major UK design companies and breweries to bring the finishing touches to a variety of venues in the hospitality sector.
Skills
Previous experience of artwork installation or furniture delivery preferred but not essential
Knowledge of basic hand and power tools desirable however training will be provided
Confident in driving a van and have a clean driving license
Capable of obtaining the relevant CSCS qualifications to enter a construction site
Physical stamina required for manual handling
Good verbal communications
Dependable and responsible
Strong work ethic
Comfortable working as part of a team or alone
Thorough, alert and detail orientated
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Flexibility when following instructions on priority of workflow
Role and Responsibilities
Take responsibility for delivering high end projects to the hospitality industry
Work under the direction of the Operations Manager and designated Project Manager when at client premises
Work as part of an extensive fitting and operations team
Undertake installation and deliveries at client premises across the UK
Liaise with customers on site as appropriate
Report any site defects or problems in workflow to Operations Management
Undertake relevant construction industry training
Maintain and upkeep all tools and equipment provided by the company
Drive responsibly, reporting any vehicle defects, fines or penalties to Operations Management
Adhere to health and safety rules and wear protective clothing.
