Looking to work on high-scale distributed systems for a major global streaming platform?
We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer for a 12-month contract with the Video Platform team in Central London.
You will join a dedicated team delivering automated traffic routing, end-to-end observability, client configuration releases, and AI tool hosting platforms.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing resilient backend microservices using AWS-native services.
- Building out integration points for AI tools via Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks.
- Improving system performance, automated failovers, and low-latency client routing.
- Collaborating within an established engineering team to maintain operational standards.
- What We Are Looking For
- Solid software engineering background with Java, Kotlin, or Type Script.
- Practical experience deploying and managing workloads on AWS using AWS CDK.
